How to choose the right parasol
Finding the ideal shade solution can be challenging, and with summer approaching, here are some tips to help you choose the perfect parasol for your garden, balcony, or terrace.
To choose correctly, consider the following information:
- Size of the area to be shaded
Helps determine the ideal size of the parasol.
- Shape of the area to be shaded
Parasols can be round, square, or rectangular. Match the shape of the canopy to the space for better coverage and aesthetics. The shape of the canopy should complement the space.
- Ideal color for the space
Glatz structures are available in 5 finishes (natural anodized, lacquered, anthracite, wood, or white), depending on the model. Consider the architectural elements of the location to find the most harmonious option.
- Furniture under the shade
The type of pole, central or side, should be chosen according to the furniture layout. Tables and sofas pair well with side poles; loungers and reclining chairs work better with central poles.
- Sun orientation of the space
South-facing spaces get the most sun exposure so knowing the orientation of the space is essential. If it gets sun in the afternoon or evening, we recommend a side-mast parasol with a tilt system.
